Become an Inspire Member
It's free and easy to become a member. Just fill in your details and we'll put you onto our mailing list so you'll be kept updated.
Terms and Conditions
We are an informal group, with no membership fees, so we view these T&Cs more as a gentlewoman’s agreement based on the principle of mutual respect and trust.
What you can expect from us
When sending emails to members, my main concern is to keep everyone informed, without overloading your inboxes with stuff.
When you sign up as a member, you will receive email notifications about our meetings and events. Typically these will be no more frequent than once a month, usually about a week before the meeting, to jog your memory to sign up if you want to attend. If I need to confirm definite numbers (to book a meal, for example), then I may send an additional reminder near the deadline.
In addition to the regular updates about our meetings, I may occasionally send round information about events and promotions run by members, or information on grants and other support that might be available to businesses like ours. I do this in good faith, and reserve the right to make the occasional error of judgement, and my passing information on in this way does not indicate that I endorse the event/company/promotion.
I will not exploit the access I have to your email addresses to send you email unconnected to Inspire and I will not pass your addresses on to a third party.
If you wish to stop receiving information about Inspire, then you can do so at any time. Just send a message via the Contact Us button on the home page and I will remove you from the mailing list.
What we expect from you
We ask you to indicate whether you plan to attend a meeting. The reason we do this is that if not enough people are booked to attend we can cancel the speaker, who may be coming a long way to talk to us. Note that the meeting will go ahead anyway.
If your plans change and you can’t attend a meeting you have booked for, it would be helpful if you could cancel your registration. However, we do appreciate that sometimes stuff happens, and when it does you may have better things to think about, so this can never be a hard and fast requirement.
This is not a platform for spammers and I reserve the right to remove members who engage in spamming activity.
